Cocktails That
Set the Mood
Skip the restaurant bar tab. A few well-chosen bottles and five minutes of prep and you've got a date night drink that actually means something. Here's where to start.
Pick Your Mood
The best date night drink is the one that matches the evening you're planning. Here are four directions — each needs just 2–3 bottles.
Elegant & Celebratory
Reach for bubbles. A good Champagne or Prosecco needs nothing but a glass. Add a classic Champagne cocktail (sugar cube, bitters, bubbly) to elevate it further. Feels special without effort.
Intimate & Sophisticated
A Negroni or Manhattan is the move. Strong, slow, sippable — a drink that says you know what you're doing. Made for low lighting and good conversation.
Light & Flirty
A French 75 or a gin and elderflower tonic. Bright, floral, effortless. Perfect for a warm evening or when you want something refreshing but still special.
Bold & Adventurous
Try a mezcal sour or a smoky Paloma. These drinks start conversations. Great if you both like trying something a little unexpected and don't mind a bolder flavor profile.
